Domestic and onshore international applicants can submit this EOI for Session 1 2027. Formal admission and scholarship eligibility are assessed separately and depend on your circumstances and proposed pathway.

The domestic scholarship round (new tab) supports eligible domestic MRes, MRes + PhD and PhD applicants. The Road to Research scholarship (new tab) supports eligible onshore MRes applicants, including international applicants. Both close on 31 October 2026 at 11pm.

The School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Macquarie University, collects this EOI to assess your research interests, academic background and potential supervision. Authorised School staff and potential supervisors may review your submission and contact you about it.
